There is an obvious issue when it comes to shipping products made of glass…breakage. This isn’t as much of a problem as you might think. The columns are made of thick borosilicate glass that’s designed to withstand pressure. None the less, all our customers who participate in our “column swap” program get their columns shipped in heavy-duty, customized Pelican cases. These cases stand the test of time and help eliminate the need for single use products and packaging. They are particularly convenient when it is time to ship us back the spent columns for re-packing and will extend the life of your lab equipment.
